Pedro Friedeberg Silver-Gilt Hand Chair. Mexico, Circa 1960s. An early iconic "hand" chair designed and made by Pedro Friedeberg. The chair hand-carved from solid mahogany is silver-leafed with a water gilt technique over red clay base. The silver has worn and oxidized to produce a beautiful patina. Minimal restoration has stabalized and preserved the finish. Excellent restored condition. Signed by Friedeberg.
