Smoked Mirror Sideboard by James Mont

USA 1963

Top inset with smoked-mirror panel into a gold metal leaf frame with Chinoiserie fretwork carved edge, mounted on top of an antiqued silver leaf cabinet inset with two smoked-mirror panels, each panel with carved Classical urn gold metal leaf appliqué, three mirrored drawers on each end of the sideboard that rests on a Greek key base.

Accompanied by a copy of the original concept drawing signed by James Mont. Listed on Mont’s Contract Specifications provided by Mont to Mr. Orlowitz.
