Created prior to his first one man show, this sculpture shows the hallmarks of design that would lead to Shifrin's major public commissions. A graduate of the Cooper Union School of Art, Shifrin is known for his monumental public works, such as Icarus in lower Manhattan, and David and Goliath in Barcelona.
