Created prior to his first one man show, this sculpture shows the hallmarks of design that would lead to Shifrin's major public commissions. A graduate of the Cooper Union School of Art, Shifrin is known for his monumental public works, such as Icarus in lower Manhattan, and David and Goliath in Barcelona.  His work is part of many major museums and private collections.
